NeoConstellation: New Beginnings Episode Six: Kitty Magic ============================================ Lola looked over at Tori as they skated into Parleyville. Her friend's eyes were straight ahead, not bothering to look at anything in particular. It was obvoius that she was in deep thought about something. Who knew what. "Hmm." She looked back toward the ground, concentrating on skating. The white star on her necklace was warm. She grimaced. _That thing's causing too much trouble._ "Would you two wait up!?" Came a shouted question from behind them. They began to slow down and skate backwards. Behind them was an annoying blue-haired guy in a white shirt. Spica. Go figure who else it would be and get back to me. He ran up and leaned against a tree. Pegasus gave him a glare that would've scared stone. He raised an eyebrow and sighed. "Look, I wouldn't blame you if you two slapped me and went away, because it's obvoius you just don't give. Okay? So stop acting like you do. Okay? We're not trying to hurt you here." Pegasus glared some more. "Prove it." She grabbed Lola's wrist and dragged her away. ********************************************************** EPISODE SIX KITTY MAGIC ********************************************************** It was two days later, back in Orpheus, that Tori first saw Lola again. She was shocked. The reason why was because she was idlely chatting with Spica. The other reason why was because Spica was dressed in the First School of Art uniform. She went to class and got busy fiddling with her camera so that when Spica and Lola first walked in, she didn't notice them. She didn't inquire what the conversation was about until last period. Photography. Casually snapping pictures of interesting looking people on campus, Tori dropped the question. Lola answered: "What? Is there a law against that or something?" Tori shook her head. "I don't trust them." "You don't trust much of anybody, do you?" She shrugged. A scream was heard from the front of the school building. A strange white glow leaked through some open windows.Tori saw Spica, near the side, freeze, and then duck behind a few trees. Lola swallowed and turned to Tori. "What do I do now?" "Get under cover. Transform, then make your way through the building. No- scratch that. Spica's over there. Go." She pointed, and ushered her over in his direction. Tori scrambled toward the building. Getting inside, she looked around the hallway, and saw that the few students in there were unconscious. She followed the strongest ribbon of white mist to a single room, in which a monster resembling a cat hovered in the air, collecting the energy into a little ball, which hovered- much like the iRodot- in a golden case. The creature's back was turned. Tori stepped quickly out of the room and pressed her back to the wall. Clenching one hand, she yelled- "Pegasus Millennium Heart, Make-up!" -and promptly transformed into Sailor Pegasus. Stepping inside the room, she yelled her little challenge at the cat-being, which turned and demanded to know exactly who she was. In typical senshi-superheroine style, she said... "I already told you! Pay attention next time! Now, in the name of the heavens, I shall punish you!" Turned around, Peggy could see that the cat creature wasn't really ugly or anything, just funny-looking. It's purple-tinted skin and slanted violet eyes made it seem almost cute, and the long curl of lilac hair falling down it's back and the violet plume of a tail twitched expectantly. It's white whiskers and white bodysuit, much like that of a Sailor Senshi without the collar or skirt, went well with it's white choker (bearing a dark violet star) and white boots. "Oh well." And with that, it let out an ear-pierceing shriek (think cat with it's tail stepped on) and pinned Pegasus to the wall. Pegasu struggled a little, then gave up, and just sat there glaring at the thing, whose claws froze off to pin her there further. Leaning back, the cat went back to it's energy, when all of a sudden- -the blue-tinted blade of a knife sliced through the energy ball, scattering it but not returning it to the students. Pegasus looked up to see two silhoutees outlined by the light of the window. Spica and Polaris. They jumped down to face the cat-being. Peggy was a little surprised to see Spica as a senshi. For one thing, he was still a guy, (no sailor star type thing going on here, sorry) and still in his white shirt, except bearing a strange resemblance to Shelby in the fact that the blue lapel (sailor collar) he wore didn't attach to a bow... the two front halves were sitting easily on his shoulders with the support of two buttons, and the back was longer than it should've been... way longer than it should've been, more like a cape than a collar.... the white star was still around his neck, but another was on his forehead, and his jeans had changed to black slacks. He was wearing blue-black boots. He picked up the knife from it's spot on the ground, shoved it back into his belt, then looked up. The cat-thing looked up at them. "Who arrrrre you?" It purred. Spica grinned. "I thought you'd *never* ask. I am Spica, knight of the stars." Polaris nodded. "I am Sailor Polaris, pretty soldier of the stars. On behalf of the white star and the sky, I will punish you!" Pegasus nodded her approval. "Someone get me down from here!!!" She pleaded. Spica stepped over to her and lifted an eyebrow, sending the rest of his face into an infuriating smirk. "Did I forget part of that little introduction?" Pegasus sighed. She knew very well what he meant and felt as if she'd been dragged into a bigger trap. She nodded, desperate. "Ah. Okay. Not just me then, is it?" She nodded again, harder. "Are you sure? Know what I mean and all?" She nodded so hard her head smacked into the wall. He opened his mouth to speak again and she screamed something along the lines of: "Just get me down from here, you idoit!! Yeah, you're my friend, get me DOWN FROM HERE!!!!" He smiled and flicked the knife so that she was finally allowed to stand on level ground. Polaris came over to them, and sort of gestured toward the cat-thing. "What do we do with that thing?" She said. Peggy shrugged. "First we have to get that energy back." "Right." Said Spica. "You get that and we'll get the cat." Pegasus nodded. She wanted to watch how they did this. Polaris started an attack. "Star Shining F!" A white ball of light shone in her hand. Spica did the same, only a bit diffently. "Star Shining B..." The two attacks combined to form a blue-white blinding flash of light that destroyed the thing, while Pegasus slowly raised the Heart over the energy. "Millennium Healing." She said, almost whispering, as the energy dispersed and went back to the students. Standing, she walked over to Spica and Polaris. "I want to know what's going on. Who was that... and who are you?" ****************************************** SAILOR PEGASUS SAYS "Ahem. Frankly, I'm confused."
