NeoConstellation: New Beginnings Episode Eight: Millennium Caller =============================== Tori looked over the music before school that day, while still trying to button her skirt. Leaning down to yank on her shoes, she was still staring at the sheets. Pieced together were pieces from every Sailor Moon season created... and Tori knew some of them by heart, which made her want to gag. How long ago had it been since she last stood in the senshi line alongside good ol' Odango Atama? She opened the door to her apartment, and tripped over something on the way out. She turned around to see what it was. The newspaper. "Tori?" It was Draco, in human form, speaking to her. Wait- Tori reached out a hand and swiped it through the image of Draco. A hologram. "Tori." Draco repeated. "What?" Tori answered, briefly looking around to make sure no one was watching. "We need you. The Heart will tell you where to find us, just come... as soon as you can." *********************************************************************** EPISODE EIGHT MILLENNIUM CALLER *********************************************************************** The morning, Tori and Lola seemed jumpy to Spica. Abnormally jumpy. For someone as scatterbrained as Tori it was almost to be expected, but for Lola... _It has to be the concert. That's all._ For example, before class he'd tapped her a few times on the shoulder, because she'd been staring off into blank space for a long enough time that she should've probably been renting office space. She'd jumped two feet in the air and turned around, ready to slap him. _What's going on here?_ He wondered. Dateline: 7:30 PM, First School of Art, *downtown* Orpheus Lola swallowed. "Nervous?" She asked Tori. Tori shook her head. "No." She said. "Not at all. I'm... I'm gonna go... tune." And with that, she turned, violin case slung over one shoulder, and walked away. Lola stared after her, then turned back to the crowded room to look for Spica. When she was a safe distance away from the school, Tori turned and looked over her shoulder, then unclipped the Millennium Heart locket from her necklace, where it was currently residing. She took one last look around. "Millennium Heart, Make... up!" A white-golden glow surrounded the general area, then disappered in a flash of purple. "Hi guys!" Said an unnaturally cheerful Pegasus. Shelby looked up, and stopped wincing. Gemini lifted an eyebrow, an expression that clearly said 'can we get moving now?', and Orion gave her a hug, because she was the closest sane person within hugging distance. Draco tapped her on the shoulder, and together, they pieced together what was going on. "But Cassiopeia doesn't know that they're not enemies!" Cried Peggy. Draco rolled her eyes. "I shouldn't have told her in the first place." She said. "But oh well. Let's go." The group of Constellation senshi headed off, and the three female Guardians split. The Zodiac senshi headed back to their respective places on Earth, except for Scorpio, who stayed with Draco and Hercules, hitching a ride on Leo's back. They caught up with Cassiopeia a while later, because she was staring up at the stars, trying to memorize what they looked like. This was not easy for someone who lived among them 99 percent of the time. Mostly because they look a thousand times different. "Not you again." She glared at Pegasus. Pegasus shrugged. Draco cleared her throat. "I hope you have the Millennium Caller." "The what??!" Asked Pegasus. "The stick." It was concert time. Tori was nowhere. Spica and Lola were combing the school when Spica made an important discovery. Tori's violin case, still locked, tucked into the stange curtain, along with a simple note: I'll be back *later*. If I'm not dead. I promise. "What am I gonna do?" Lola said, grabbing Spica by the front of his suit and yanking him down to eye level. Spica looked around, then grabbed Tori's music. "I have an idea." "Are you crazy?" She whispered, directly into his face. "You have no idea how to play that thing!" "You're right." He responded. "But this school does have two pianos, don't they?" A few minutes later, the announcement came on that a change in the program was made. Spica and Lola gave an excellent concert, truly. However, both were wondering whether the end was in sight. Because they'd forgot to mention the end of the world to Tori. She'd find out sooner or later. (If you want the music, you can download it at the NC: NB music home page under "SMevolution.mid") After the concert, Spica looked up decidedly at one section of space. "Let's go." He determined. Lola nodded. "Polaris Star Power, Make-up!" "Spica Star Power, Make-up!" *********************************************************************** SAILOR PEGASUS SAYS: I don't think I should've done that. TORI SAYS: I'm serious about the hot dog and cheese thing, you know. Right? It's not only that I'm decidedly crazy, but it also has to do with the good of humanity. Cheese and hot dogs. You know.
